The Bills' injury list has grown this week, but it looks as though many of the players are trending up. At this point, it looks like the opposite is true for the Patriots.

You never want a game to come down to whether someone is injured or not, and you never want to hear that someone is injured, but it could have a real impact on the game.

The Patriots could be without one of their best players this week

Christian Gonzalez, or Gonzo as many people call him, could be one of the league's best defensive backs. Seattle's Jaxon Smith-Njigba is one of the best receivers in the NFL, and when he was asked who the toughest cornerback was that he's faced, he pointed at Gonzalez. But right now, it looks like we might not even see him on the field Sunday. According to reporters in New England, he hasn't practiced for the last two days.

He has been injured since last week when he took on a 315-pound tackle from Jacksonville.

As of right now, Defensive Tackle Christian Barmore and Offensive Tackle Morgan Moses are also no-shows at practice for the Pats.

They could be without another familiar face too

Bills fans might not see one of their former fan favorite players either. Fullback Reggie Gilliam is out with a knee injury. Gilliam played for the Bills for years before going to New England just this season.

Things can change on injury reports

These are all statuses as of Thursday evening. All of this can change before game time. Tomorrow will be the time to watch to see if any players are officially ruled out for the game. Teams need to give a game status designation by 4:00 p.m. two days before the game, so in this case that would be Friday. They have until 90 minutes before game time to decide who their inactive players will be.

The Bills will take on the Patriots on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
