The Buffalo Bills will have a new stadium in Orchard Park starting in 2026, which will be built directly across from the current location of Highmark Stadium on Abbott Road.

The 60,000-plus seat stadium will be open-air, and have many cool features, including protecting a large portion of fans from rain.

The new stadium was agreed upon last year by the state, county and team; with the official agreement coming earlier this year. That means construction will start shortly and by 2024, things will look vastly different in that parking lot across from Highmark Stadium.

Many fans are wondering what the parking situation will look like, especially starting in 2024, when construction starts to ramp up.

Some of those questions were addressed by Pegula Sports and Entertainment and Bills EVP Ron Raccuia, who told the media that the RV lot at Highmark Stadium will either be reduced or eliminated completely during construction of the new stadium.

However, they are currently working on other options for those who use the RV lot at Bills home games.

Erie Community College will be impacted, as some buildings and parking will be used by construction crews over the next few years. It remains to be seen just how things shape out for layout in that area, but we should see it firsthand in the coming months, as crews begin their work.

Should be interesting to watch. It'll be weird to see Highmark Stadium gone and a brand new stadium across the street.
