Buffalo Bisons’ Zeuch Throws First ‘No Hitter’ Since 1997
Bartolo Colon is the last Buffalo Bisons pitcher to do it. But last night, T.J. Zeuch threw the first 'no hitter' since 1997.
The Buffalo Sabres are in full post season push mode and last night they came up big behind the pitching of T.J. Zeuch.
He was a pitcher for Pitt before he was the first round selection of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Although he only struck out three batters, he was able to hold the Rochester Red Wings hit-less by forcing them into 15 groundball outs. It was just the second no-hitter in the Buffalo Bison's modern era.
This weekend, the Bisons host their final homestand of the season as the Pawtucket Red Sox come to town.
There are just 7 games left in the regular season and they include the last Friday Night Bash, a pencil case giveaway night, a Tops Dog Day at the Park, and a fan appreciation night that will include fireworks on Thursday August 29th.
