Buffalo Has Its Own “The Drought Is Over” Bobblehead
The Bills waited 17 years to make it back to the playoffs. It was the longest playoff drought in any professional sport at the time...now that's over and we've got a bobblehead to commemorate it.
The bobbleheads were officially unveiled by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum today.
It's a bobblehead statue (manufactured by FOCO) of the Bills mascot "Billy Buffalo" standing on a news paper that says, "The Drought is Over! Bills Earn First Postseason Bid Since 1999!”.
If you want one, don't wait. They're only going to sell 1000 of these and they will all be individually numbered.
“We thought this bobblehead would be the perfect way for Bills’ fans to celebrate the end of the drought and the start of a new era. Hopefully for Bills’ fans, the next Playoff-related bobbleheads will include Super Bowl rings!” -- Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
The bobbleheads are $40 each plus a flat rate shipping charge of $8 per order. The initial production run of 216 bobbleheads are in stock now, and the remaining bobbleheads will be produced and made available for pre-order with December delivery if the initial production run of bobbleheads sells out.
