Buffalo, New York is flat out spoiled when it comes to food.

Western New York is known for chicken wings above all else, which is the way it should be. Wings here are a way of life for Buffalonians, with literally dozens and dozens of good to great places to go for Buffalo's signature dish.

However, it's not just wings that Buffalo is known for. The pizza here is the most underrated pizza in the entire country.

Typically, Buffalo-style pizza is slightly thicker than New York's thin-crust. It features sweeter pizza sauce, extra cheese and cup-and-char pepperoni. It's definitely not the healthiest pizza out there, but it's phenomenal and doesn't get nearly credit around the country.

Buffalo also has thin-crust and Neapolitan pizza places as well, and one of them as been named the 8th best pizza place in the entire United States.

Jay's Artisan Pizza was named this year's 8th best pizza in the country. They were named 13th best in 2022.

Jay's hasn't been around very long but has made quite the impression on locals and nationwide. They specialize in Neapolitan style, which is smaller and lighter than your typical Buffalo or New York style pizza.

There's no doubt that Jay's uses fresh and high-quality ingredients and it's so unbelievably cool that a Buffalo pizzeria is getting recognition like this.
