A former substitute teacher and coach in the Cheektowaga-Sloan school district is facing new charges tied to five more alleged victims of sexual abuse.

Steven Gasiorek initially faced charges of production of child pornography and enticement of a minor, relating to a 14-year-old boy in Virginia he communicated with online, according to the Buffalo News.

During the investigation of that crime, police have learned Gasiorek has victimized more children, including students he taught and coached in Cheektowaga.

"He has made admissions that he preyed on his own students and players on his own teams," Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth R. Moellering said on Tuesday to the Buffalo News.

Police report Gasiorek posed as a 14-year-old girl named "Lexi" on social media sites to communicate with young boys.

If you have information about Gasiorek's alleged crimes, call the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force tip line at 716-843-1616.
