Chippewa Gets OK For ‘Playoffs on the Patio’ AFC Championship Party
After being denied permission to host another "Playoffs on the Patio" party last weekend because of coronavirus-related restrictions, this Sunday's outdoor party is a go.
WIVB reports Mayor Byron Brown gave the go-ahead for Chippewa Street to be closed to traffic from 1 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., from Franklin Street to the Buffalo Tap House. Crews will set up additional dining tables, as well as chairs, and two large LED screens for viewing the Bills vs. Chiefs game.
Similar to the first "Playoffs on the Patio" event, reservations are required and tables are limited. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. To reserve a table, you can email reservations@recroombuffalo.com or text 716-939-1279 with a reservation request.
Last weekend's event was unable to be held due to the 10 p.m. curfew for outdoor dining that was in place. Last Saturday's game didn't begin until after 8 p.m.
The Buffalo Bills fanbase is growing well beyond the limits of the 716.
