Could You Be Snoring Yourself To Death?
I had a few cocktails on New Year’s Eve so I did the responsible thing and stayed overnight at my sisters where the party was held. It was pointed out to me that I breath loudly when I sleep (I was sleeping on an air mattress in the family room). Was I snoring or just breathing loudly? It got me wondering, why is it when we get older we tend to snore more often and breath louder when we sleep? I notice this when I have guests visiting from out of state and I can hear them sawing logs from 3 doors away. These are the same people I’ve known for many years and never noticed that they were so loud when they sleep. It concerned me because one night I heard my friend stop breathing at one point during the night. So many people suffer from some sort of sleep issue. More seriously, for 1 in 6 people snoring is a serious health issue. Is it possible to snore yourself to death? If you're concerned, read on more here.
