Country Stars Visit St. Jude Children’s Hospital

A number of country stars recently visited the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.  Ronnie Dunn, Justin Moore, The Band Perry and the JaneDear Girls were able to get an up close look at the work the hospital does to treat children with cancer.  Alabama front man, Randy Owen has been instrumental in connecting country artists with the hospital which is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with pediatric cancer.  I was honored to visit this wonderful place about 10 years ago; it was a life changing experience to say the least.  I found it amazing that children were treated regardless of their family’s inability to pay.  No child is turned away.  Plus, the research is shared with children’s hospitals all over the world.  Truly a remarkable place.  If you'd like to make a donation click here.
