OK, so Clay is currently in the lead in our donut-to-donut competition but there is one big reason why you should buy your Polish Cheesecake Donut from Market in the Square in the Northtowns.

Clay is already a winner! His show has been CMA nominated and has won the ACM. He doesn’t need to add Donut Challenge Champ to his list. Me on the other hand, I have no awards, so please help support ECMC and get your donuts in the Northtowns! Here's where we are now:

Clay – 6,878 donuts sold
Dave – 3,125 donuts sold

Let me recap really quickly what's at stake here. Our friends at Market in the Square turned their famous Polish Cheesecake into a specialty donut you can ONLY get for 106 days and only at our two local locations. They'll donate a dollar for each Polish Cheesecake Donut sold during that time to the ECMC Foundation to support their new trauma center campaign.

More importantly, we only have a few more weeks to enjoy the Polish Cheesecake Donut. The competition (and limited time offering) ends Nov. 8.

Clay is representing the West Seneca location in the Southgate Plaza (940 Union Road), while I have the North Tonawanda location in the Budwey’s Plaza (535 Division St.) Whoever's store has the most Polish Cheesecake Donut sales wins, and whoever loses gets a Polish Cheesecake Donut to the face. Of course, it's going to be a very public donut-smashing-into-the-face affair.

It might look a little something like this:

So, head on over to the Northtown location and get Polish Cheesecake Donuts for your coworkers, your extended family and all your friends. You can purchase one donut for $2.50, four for $10 or six for $15.

With your help, I can finally be a winner ... along with ECMC, of course.
