Everyone loves donating to a great cause, right? We've got the most delicious way to do that in Western New York, and it involves a brand new entry into the region's out-of-this-world donut scene. You can help support ECMC with "Donuts For a Cause" supported by Market in the Square.

Our friends at Market in the Square have created a new donut specifically to benefit ECMC, and it has its roots in WNY baking. They've turned their Famous Polish Cheesecake into a donut--that's right, it's a Polish Cheesecake Donut!

For every donut purchased at either Market in the Square location, $1 will be donated to support ECMC. You can purchase one donut for $2.50, four for $10 or six for $15. These limited edition--and limited time--donuts are available exclusively at the Market in the Square locations in West Seneca and North Tonawanda.

Since we have locations in both the Northtowns and the Southtowns, I figured Clay Moden and I could have a friendly competition. For 106 days, we’re going to keep track of which location sells more donuts--Clay will represent the West Seneca location in the Southgate Plaza (940 Union Raod), while I represent the North Tonawanda location in the Budwey’s Plaza (535 Division Street). The loser will take a Polish Cheesecake Donut to the face, and we’ll make sure everyone gets to see it!

So here we go, Northtowns! Just because Clay is tall, dark and handsome he should have to win everything! Let’s show the Southtowns that living north of the 90 is the place to be. Tell me you don’t want to see Clay take a huge donut right to the face...
