Dazzling “Magic Of Lights” Event Coming To Darien Lake

If you love holiday lights, you are going to want to check out this new event that is coming to Darien Lake this holiday season.

People love to look at holiday lights.  Heck, some people were even putting them up in June and July during the peak of the pandemic just to brighten people's moods during a dismal time.

Now that it's actually almost time for holiday events, you're going to want to gather the family in the car and head out to Darien Lake for their new holiday light display.

They're calling it "The Magic of Lights" drive-through experience.  They describe it as "1.25 miles of magical holiday lights displayed through the park and campgrounds."  We're talking over a million lights and you never even have to get out of your car to see them.  It's a completely drive-through experience.

It begins on November 19th and will continue throughout the holiday season until January 2nd.  They will be open every day from 5pm - 9pm except on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Tickets will be available and will need to be pre-purchased.  However, if you are a current Members or Season Pass holder, it is included in that ticket.  You will not need to purchase an additional ticket to get into "The Magic of Lights."  You will have to have your season pass with you.

It's funny how some of these things seem very little when you're doing them.  But they leave lasting impressions on kids.  You can ask them years and years later and they will remember doing them.  I can still remember riding in the back of my grandparents station wagon to the festival of lights in Niagara Falls when I was a kid.  Soak up those moments.  They come and go so quickly.
