Not even a pair of pit road penalties could keep Denny Hamlin from winning his second race of the season.  Hamlin was assessed penalties for speeding and an uncontrolled tire but recovered to lead 45 of the 334 laps at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday.  It's Hamlin's third win at Texas and the 33rd of his career.

Clint Bowyer came in second with Erik Jones finishing third and Daniel Suarez fourth.  Pole sitter Jimmie Johnson led a race-high 61 laps and came in fifth for his first Top-5 finish of the season.

After winning the Truck race of Friday and the Xfinity race on Saturday, Kyle Busch was looking for a Texas weekend sweep, but he hit the wall with 54 laps left.  He finished 10th.

Next stop is Bristol Motor Speedway next Sunday.
