You Can Get Jewelry Made From Dierks Bentley’s Guitar Strings
Dierks Bentley is coming to our WYRK Toyota Taste of Country in June. If you'd like to support his charity, he's got a really cool way to show it off at the show.
It's so cool when artists find creative ways for you to get a little piece of them and help out their charity at the same time. That's exactly what Dierks Bentley is doing with the Wear Your Music campaign.
What is Dierks Bentley's Charity Foundation?
Dierks Bentley has a foundation called "The Riser Foundation." It started in 2006 as an annual benefit event to help out the Monroe Carroll Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and has since grown to multiple children's hospitals in multiple cities. The foundation was created to support charitable organizations with a focus on the needs of children and families. Their goal is to help with adolescent health needs, homelessness, literacy, education, and hunger.
How Can You Help The Riser Foundation?
There are a few ways that you can help. The first is to simply make a donation. They can always use money. There is a donation link right here to make it easy.
The other way is to check their website and attend events that they hold.
Another is something called the Wear Your Music Campaign. It's a really cool campaign that multiple artists are involved in like Tim McGraw, Craig Morgan, Toby Keith, and more. The idea is that you can buy jewelry made from recycled guitar strings that were donated by that artist.
The pieces of jewelry can be customized with additional charms and colors. See the full list of items from Dierks Bentley by clicking here.
