The Puppy Bowl has come and gone for another season. However, dogs are in the news to start the week the day after the Super Bowl. For those who have dogs, no doubt you have a favorite brand that you choose to feed your dog.

The right dog food, for the right price, is key. We have two dogs; a black lab and mini dachshund. They are very different, but the food works for both and they really enjoy it! Now there is word that at popular dog food brand has been recalled across the United States and here in New York State.

The recall is for 8-pound and 20-pound bags with production codes 2249 1082, 2250 1082, 2276 1082, 2277 1082, 2290 1082, 2360 1082 and 2361 1082.

Besides the popularity of the Puppy Bowl, there were many other commercials that caught our attention last night and even some that brought us to tears!

There is nothing like having a dog as part of the family. If you just got a puppy, congrats! Treat them right and you will know why a dog is your best friend!
