Drink and See Beautiful Van Gogh Art in Williamsville
Even if you are not artistically inclined, you are going to want to see this. After all, it could just be the perfect place to go for your next date night.
Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience opens in Buffalo on August 20 at the Starry Night Pavilion. The pavilion can be found at the Eastern Hills mall in Williamsville for a limited time.
Vincent Van Gogh may be known as the artist who cut off one of his ears, but his artistic ability is undeniable and has continued to be admired over a century later. There is a waterfall room, educational section, and an immersive area. All of Van Gogh’s cherished masterpieces are “freed from the frames” in this exhibit, and they come alive on the walls, appear and disappear, then refill the walls with blooming art.
If you are going to the Immersive Van Gogh Experience as a relaxation tactic, might I recommend stopping by the exhibit on Thursday mornings? At 8:30 am every Thursday, Uplift Yoga & Strength will hold a guided Beyond Van Gogh yoga experience at the Starry Night Pavilion. Not only will you be able to recharge your body through each class, but you will have the visual experiences, sounds, and guides to enhance your yoga class. It almost makes it seem like you are dreaming.
On top of his stellar artwork, there will be wine and beer available to purchase. It is a limited edition Beyond Van Gogh styled wine and beer, locally made in Western New York. The beer is a raspberry sour ale, made locally at the Ellicottville Brewing Company.
A visit to the exhibit will take around an hour to explore all of it. It is a walk-through exhibit that allows for six feet of social distancing between all present attendees.
To tour the exhibit or to simply attend one of the weekly yoga classes, you will need to purchase a ticket online -- which you can do here.
