It’s Time To “Eat The Rich” In New York State

You’ve probably heard the saying “eat the rich,” but now you can do exactly that…literally. 

A Brooklyn-based art collective, called MSCHF, started up a new business with a traveling ice cream truck, promoting their new frozen treat where you can “Eat The Rich.”

The ice cream truck started selling popsicles that look exactly like the faces of five of the world’s richest billionaires, including: Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Jack Ma, and Mark Zuckerberg. The official names for the flavors are very clever, too – Gobble Gates, Bite Bezos, Munch Musk, Snack on Jack, and Suck Zuck, respectively. 

In New York City, you can buy one of these popsicles and “eat the rich” for just $10. 

Originally, MSCHF planned to sell these popsicles for only a limited time, but with the high demand of people waiting to “eat the rich,” maybe we will see them around again soon. 

If I had to guess, a majority of people in Western New York would opt for the "Munch Musk" popsicle, based on the reactions around the world after we received word that he would be purchasing Twitter. There were even some joking suggestions that he would purchase part of Western New York. (You can read more about that here.)
