Everything You Need To Know About Ellicottville’s Fall Festival
It is one of the best fall festivals in the entire country and it's being held this weekend on October 11th and 12th in Western New York. If you're a leaf peeper or you're just hoping to celebrate the season, you'll love Ellicottville's Fall Fest.
They bring in more than 10,000 visitors for this event every year. That's just one of the many reasons why it's ranked the 12th best fall festival in the country by Country Living. From the second you get to the village until you leave, you'll see vendors as they span the whole area with everything from football-themed merchandise, food, arts & crafts, and more. The arts and crafts show will run both days from 10am-5pm. There will also be music, ski swap sales, scenic rides up and down the lifts at Holiday Valley, fireworks (on Friday), and even a special fall festival run.

Where is Ellicottville?
Ellicottville is about 50 miles south of Buffalo, and only about 15 to 20 minutes from Salamanca. It's well known for its beautiful scenery and especially the fall foliage. It's at the foot of the Allegheny Mountains so you really get a great look at the leaves when they begin to change.
There are multiple ways to get to the village, and this year, there is construction happening on the 219 that could slow people down. You might want to plan for this before you leave because it could create some major traffic.
