A Beloved Western New York Tradition

The Erie County Fair is one of the most anticipated events of the year in Western New York. It is also one of the largest county fairs in the nation.

With deep roots in agriculture, the fair is much more than rides, food, and entertainment. It’s a celebration of the hardworking farmers, families, and agricultural businesses that help keep our community thriving. For 12 days each August, thousands of visitors gather to enjoy everything the fair has to offer while supporting a tradition that has been a cornerstone of Western New York for generations.
