There may be a smooth ride ahead if you drive through Erie County.

With the spring comes the road construction. From the Skyway to the Thruway you will notice traffic cones. But the roads maintained by Erie County may get some improvement as well.

According to a report from Metro Source News:

Roads across Erie County are going to get some much needed repairs.  Yesterday, the County Executive announced 40 million dollars worth of construction projects.  Some of the biggest projects include repaving Abbott Road near New Era Field and the reconstruction of East and West Road from Union Road to Leydecker Road in West Seneca.

No work is being done in Buffalo by the county. But some certainly need repair. Especially Main St near downtown.
