You may have seen Explore & More's "Touch A Truck" event for kids across Western New York.  This year, they're making a few adjustments but keeping the fun.

In the past, the Touch A Truck event was to help kids get up close to and safely learn about some of the huge machines that they normally have to view from afar.  While they normally shouldn't be around vehicles this big (because operators often cannot see them when they are in motion), this opportunity would get them right up close to - and even inside - some of the trucks that they've only been able to see from a distance.

Obviously this year due to social distancing, they aren't going to be able to do that.  But Explore & More has still found a way for kids to see the trucks and keep the fun with their "Find A Truck" scavenger hunt.

This year, kids will be able to take part virtually from June 22-26 with virtual Storytime, activities, virtual tours and trivia.  Then at the end of the week there will be a a driving scavenger hunt on Saturday, June 27th, 10am – 2pm.

According to Explore & More.com, the scavenger hunt will include:

A map of where to find a variety of trucks including construction, utility and emergency vehicles, the Book-mobile, the Albright-Knox Art Truck and more.

Visits from our special friends – Ghostbusters 716, the Justice League of WNY, a cow and more to come!

Surprises throughout the day at various scavenger hunt locations.

Plus, everyone who registers will be entered for door prizes, including a Power Wheels Ford F150 Raptor and a Family Staycation package courtesy of Holiday Inn Express Downtown! Also stay tuned for a special contest with a great family prize from Dunn Tire.
