Gross Changes On The Way To Western New York
Time with family, cozying up by the fire, days off, and of course football– we have so much to look forward to this fall in Western New York.
Unfortunately, we’ve also got some things we’re not so pumped about that will be on the way; specifically physically and mentally.
Now that Daylight Saving Time has come and gone, get ready for some annoying and frustrating changes to our minds and bodies that will affect our energy levels, bodies, and minds.
Western New York Cold Weather Brings Serious Changes
If you’re a lifelong Western New Yorker, you’re probably used to the sudden (and sometimes gross) changes that happen to us when the temperatures drop, like runny noses, constant exhaustion, and flaky, dry skin. You’re not alone, considering at least one (or all) of these cold weather bodily changes happens to most of us.
Almost everyone has at least one physical reaction to the upcoming fall and winter temperatures that’s infuriating, but it doesn’t mean we like or accept it. All we can do is keep some extra tissues in our coat pockets and hope for the best, because chances are, your nose will suddenly start running like a faucet in public when you least expect it.
And as residents of the “City Of Good Neighbors,” we should never be afraid to offer a fellow sneezer or snotter one of our extra Kleenex's to get rid of their bat in the cave, or be embarrassed to take one if we need it.
Let’s look forward (lol) to some of the physical changes that are coming our way this soon-to-be cold and wet fall and winter in Western New York.
