Nobody in Buffalo would ever turn down a FREE beer, right?

Tonight, there is a special keg tapping that will happen at the Hofbrauhaus Buffalo downtown in honor of the Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight.

Once a month, the Hofbrauhaus picks a charity from the Western New York community and donates the money made from that keg to them. To celebrate, the keg is tapped and everyone at the Hofbrauhaus gets to have one for free.

The keg night gets kicked off at 5:30 and there is a special ceremony and march-in with the keg into the Hofbrauhaus followed by the National Anthems. It is a fun night, but most importantly, all of the money goes to a great cause.

The Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight is something that is simply amazing and unique for our veterans that live right here in Western New York!

The waiting list is over 100 veterans long, but believe it or not, The Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight (which takes Southwest Airlines commercial planes) makes everyone's flight happen in about a year. But, you HAVE TO get on that waiting list as soon as possible. Sing up your veteran right here on the Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight website. In addition to your veteran, it is required that a guardian go with--that could be either a family member of any kind or even a friend.

We spoke to Tom Pietre, the President of the Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight about their next flight coming up next Fall!
