Free Ice Skating Now Open in Lancaster
Canalside may still be closed for now, but there are still places you can go ice-skating in Western New York.
In Lancaster, there are two outdoor rinks that are free for anyone to use.
They're located in Como Park, bordering the village of Lancaster. Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarcz tweeted about the rink's readiness this week.
The rink's operations are subject to weather, as they are kept cold and frozen by Mother Nature.
Ice skating is daily from noon to 8 p.m.
