It’s Here: Frightworld Is Back This Weekend In Buffalo
This Saturday, we officially say goodbye to summer and hello to the first day of fall. The good news is that this weekend also marks the kickoff for the dozens of fall festivities that’ll be popping up here in Western New York.
Halloween will be here before you know it, and it’s never too early to start celebrating. Buffalo residents have already started decking out their yards with spooky decorations, stocking up on candy, and putting together their costumes.
Additionally, this Friday also is the day that one of Western New York’s most popular Halloween attractions is opening up their doors for the season.
Frightworld 2023 Opening This Weekend
Frightworld America’s Screampark is back this Friday, September 22nd, running every weekend through November 4th inside the old North Buffalo K-Mart on Hertel Ave.
The huge Halloween event is billed as “America's biggest and best indoor screampark,” and its five indoor haunted houses have been featured on Buzzfeed and the Travel Channel.
How Much Are Tickets To Frightworld In Buffalo?
This Friday and Saturday, doors will be open starting at 6:30pm through 11, with tickets ranging from $40 for a five-house pass to $55 for a VIP ticket that lets you skip the long lines.
You can buy tickets to Frightworld ahead of time on their website, or to avoid processing fees, you can also purchase them at their box office (cash only, but there is an ATM on site).
Is Frightworld Appropriate For Kids?
The super scary attractions inside are probably too intense for little ones, but Frightworld is also putting on a Little Frights With Lights Event on Saturday, October 28th, with the proceeds to benefit the Kelly For Kids Foundation.
‘Tis the season to get into the Buffalo Halloween spirit!
