We're less than two weeks from the start of September and while the summer heat is still with us, the fall weather will be here before you know it and that means that we will be having fun with all those amazing fall activities.

One of the activities people love to do every October is haunted houses and I'm without a doubt one of those people.

Get ready, because Western New York's most popular haunted house will be making its return this year.

Frightworld teased its return with a video straight from Poltergeist and it captured the excitement perfectly.

Frightworld decided to remain closed last fall, due to the pandemic, but they look as if they're ready to return for the Halloween season in 2021.

House of Horrors and Haunted Catacombs permanently closed its doors earlier this year after one last scare event, so Frightworld's return was definitely needed by scare enthusiasts here in Western New York.

Haunted houses are a ton of fun. I know it sounds sort of weird to people who hate getting scared and can't imagine it being fun, but for me and others, there is almost a no better way to have fun with friends than walking through a haunted house. It's a tight-knit community and the people at Frightworld and other haunted attractions put in a lot of work to make it all happen.

I can't wait for Frightworld's return! They're located on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst (across from The Home Depot).
