As the Buffalo Bills get ready to hit the bye week, it seems to have come at a perfect time. Following the Buffalo Bills loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, a reset might be just what the Bills need. Get healthy, get focused and get ready to get back to winning!

But some fans of football, and country music, in Buffalo, New York are setting their sights on the Super Bowl in February. A new petition has popped up and fans who are signing it are trying to get the halftime show to be a different lineup.

Bad Bunny will headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show. However, if die hard country fans could have their choice, it would be legendary star, George Strait for a variety of reasons according to the petition.

In a post on Social Media, the petition is calling for the NFL to change their mind and go country! Country Music Nation notes that: "Fans have launched multiple petitions to replace Bad Bunny with George Strait during Super Bowl LX halftime show. One petitioner said that he believed the halftime show “should unite our country, honor American culture, and remain family-friendly.”

The Change.org petition reads: "The 2026 Super Bowl offers a unique opportunity to pay tribute to American music's rich heritage by featuring George Strait in its halftime show".

It is doubtful that a change will be made. I would love to see country music return to the Super Bowl at some point and it would really love it if the Buffalo Bills were in it as well!!
