It’s not a true party until…the Governor shows up?

Tons of people flocked to Highmark Stadium for the Buffalo Bills home opener, and it actually turned out to be a pretty smooth ride in.

Shocking, right? Many people were anticipating the worst with so many of the old parking lots blocked off so they could begin building the new stadium to open in 2026, but it actually wasn’t that bad.

However, something unexpected did happen on football Sunday (and I don’t mean the guy who fell into the construction hole, though that was pretty different….)

Governor Kathy Hochul, a Buffalo native, has always stayed true to her roots, and that includes being a fan of the Buffalo Bills.

The Governor shared a video of her enthusiasm for her hometown team as she was walking into Highmark Stadium from the tailgating lots.

“Back with the best fans in the world for the @BuffaloBills home opener! #GoBills

Gov. Hochul is even sporting a vintage Buffalo Bills jacket, and it looks sweet!

Hochul was not the only notable person who was spotted at Highmark Stadium this weekend. Sources say that Hailee Steinfeld attended the game in support of Josh Allen.

Steinfeld is one of the most well-known actresses and singers right now, acting in things like the TV show Hawkeye and the Spider-Verse movies.

The Bills Mafia stretches far and wide, and you’ll see them again at the next game, which is away at the Washington Commanders on Sunday, September 24 at 1 PM.
