If you are planning on doing any in-person shopping for the holidays this year, the Walden Galleria has announced when they will be open for business.

The Walden Galleria has just announced that they will have special holiday hours again this year.

There will be no controversy there of what should and shouldn't be open on Thanksgiving day. The mall will be closed on Thanksgiving day. They will re-open however at 7AM ET for all the Black Friday shoppers.

And according to WGRZ, many stores are pushing some big sales prior to Black Friday in order to break up the craziness that has become Black Friday.

“We’re seeing early Black Friday deals and shoppers are being encouraged by many of our tenants to break up the traditional, one-day-only rush, The spreading-out of sales and deep discounts throughout the entire holiday season should help minimize lines and crowds. Sales available at several retailers will be larger and available earlier than normal.”  Alex Corbelli, Walden Galleria’s Marketing Director

Shopping has changed over the last couple of years. It still feels strange to walk through a mall for me and see how much space there is. I tell my kids all the time about the way things used to be and how you could barely move if you went to the mall when I was a teenager. It was the place to be.

It's changed now, but malls are still super useful. If there's something that you can't find online, or maybe something that you need to try on before you buy it, the mall is there.  If you have to have it in your hands TODAY. The mall is great.
