Nine incredible homes in Renaissance Buffalo will be open for a free tour this Saturday. Take one of three free Buffalo News trolleys, drive your car, or go to all locations by bike with a scenic mapped-out itinerary! Then everyone is invited to the south lawn of Hotel Henry from 5 to 8 pm for a huge tent party with live music, cash bar and food plus luxury cars on display. The Bisons have a weekend homestand with four games against Scranton/Wilkes Barre. A Friday night bash at 7:05. A doubleheader Saturday starting at 5:35 and closing with a Sunday matinee at 1:05
This "catch and release" Kids' Fishing Derby is for youth 16 years and younger. Prizes are given out for the biggest fish in four age categories. There's all kinds of things to do, plus refreshments and a grand prize giveaway. It's Saturday, June 17 at the Niawanda Park Bandshell in the City of Tonawanda from 9am to noon.
The University of Buffalo is hosting a Fun Run to benefit the Early Childhood Research Center on the Amherst campus with registration beginning Saturday morning at 8:45. This is a family event with races in all age groups as young as toddlers. Even an obstacle course. Everyone's a winner.
Presented by the Lewiston Garden Club, shop for flowers, plants and garden supplies from among 50 vendors, plus free demonstrations, a garden walk and a gardening contest along Center Street in Lewiston. Saturday and Sunday, June 17 & 18, 10 am to 5 pm both days.
