Here’s What To Do This Weekend In WNY
There's always plenty to do every weekend around Western New York. Check out some of the events set for this weekend presented by Gullo's Garden Center, your one stop headquarters for making your home look great with trees, shrubs and all of your landscaping needs. And every Friday morning with Clay, Dale and Liz you can win a $50.00 Gullo's Garden Center gift certificate.
Wing and Rotor Air Club of WNY is hosting its annual open house this Sunday at Resevoir State Park in Lewiston. Bring the kids while they do the entertaining. They have as many as 20 pilots flying remote controlled airplanes, helicopters, and drones.
Food and drink available, or bring your own. And don't forget the sunscreen and lawnchairs. It's an event for kids of all ages!!
55 restaurants, six wineries. It's fun by the forkful at the annual Taste of Buffalo along Delaware Avenue from Niagara Square to Chippewa Street in downtown Buffalo. From Indian to Italian, Polish to Chinese - there's something for everyone this Saturday11 am to 9 pm and Sunday 11 am to 7 pm.
Friday and Saturday at the Alexander Fire Department Tractor grounds, Route 98 in Alexander. Grounds open Friday at 5 pm, Saturday at 4 pm. Truck and tractor pulls begin at 7 pm both night. Beer tents open until 2 am.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Queen of Heaven Church, 4220 Seneca Street, West Seneca. Free admission, free parking, large midway, games of skill and chance.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Buffalo Hill Village Campgrounds on Route 20-A in Varysburg, NY. Camping, concerts and great fireworks.
