There's always plenty to do every weekend around Western New York. Check out some of these events:
The Volare Lodge is hosting the Snowflake Basket Auction this Saturday, March 25th from noon to 5. You’ll find something for everyone among more than 250 theme baskets, bid on big ticket items, a silent auction, a lottery tree, gift certificates to area businesses, food and a lot of fun. Proceeds benefit Empower, a service provider for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Volare Lodge is at the corner of Kies and 56th Streets in Niagara Falls.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas is sponsoring the Twin Cities Expo at North Tonawanda High School - 405 Meadow Drive. It's this Saturday and Sunday, March 25th and 26th from 9 am to 4 pm. Good Shepherd Community of Faith invites you to their Book & Baked Goods Sale Saturday, March 25th 10-2PM. Hard bounds $1.00, paperback $.50, bulk discounts available. Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast during Maple Weekend at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish on Sunday, March 26th from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Parish Hall (10893 Sisson Highway, North Collins (Langford)). St. John Vianney Church invites to join them for a Spaghetti Dinner and Chinese and Basket Auction on Sunday, March 26th from noon to 6pm in the school cafeteria. It's sponsored by the Parent's Auxiliary to benefit Boy Scout Troop 1776. Adults-$8, Children (5-10) $5, Children 4 and under-Free, Seniors $6. The Orchard Park Lions Club invites you to a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 26th from 8:00 to 11:30 am at American Legion Post #567 at 3740 North Buffalo Street in Orchard Park. Breakfast includes pancakes with genuine WNY maple syrup, sausage and beverage. $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for children (6-12 years), free for kids under 6. It's a Blind and Charity Fundraiser.
