ALDI's customers in Buffalo may have noticed the closure of their go-to store the past couple of days. Don't worry, it's coming back better than ever.

In the beginning of the year, ALDI announced a massive plan to temporarily shut down about 1,300 stores and spend $1.6 billion to remodel them all. First up: 2 Buffalo area Aldi's, both of their Transit Road locations will be some of the first to see the investments.

Remodeled stores will also feature a modern design, open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally-friendly building materials – such as recycled materials, energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting", according to thestate.com

ALDI says that the remodeling should take approximately 6 weeks.
