The National Association of Letter Carriers is back at it again this year. They are asking for your help to Stamp Out Hunger this weekend. It's so easy to do, you don't even have to leave your property to help out.

Their goal is "to help restock community food banks, pantries and shelters for needy families throughout the summer,” according to the NALC's president Fredric Rolando.

Last year’s drive collected approximately 71 million pounds of non-perishable food

So what do you have to do?  Simply leave NON-PERISHABLE food goods in a bag by your mailbox on Saturday May 14th.  The letter carriers will then do the rest by collecting the food and distributing it to the food banks, pantries, and shelters.

This year, they would like you to get social with your action too.  They ask that you take pictures and share them on their various social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) using the hashtag #StampOutHunger.
