Famous Buffalo Pizza Place Giving Away Free Pizza Slices

There's no single food that is more Buffalo than chicken wings.

Wings are a way of life in Western New York. They are the culinary dish that we are most known for, but there are other foods that should come to mind when you think of Buffalo; such as beef on weck and pizza.

Buffalo is the most underrated pizza destination in the United States. There are more pizzerias per capita than New York City, which is a stat that usually blows peoples minds when they first hear it. Buffalo-style pizza is the signature style -- slightly thicker than thin-crust, sweeter tomato sauce, extra cheese and cup-and-char pepperoni.

Imperial Pizza is one of the staples of Buffalo-style pizza. They are right there with Bocce Club, La Nova and Picasso's for great Buffalo-style pizza, and they will soon have a second location.

The South Buffalo pizzeria is going to open up their new location on Main Street in the City of Buffalo. It will be located near Canisius College. The first location is Abbott Road in South Buffalo.

To help celebrate the grand opening of the new location, Imperial will be giving out two slicers per person Monday-Friday, from 11 am to 1 pm...yes, really.

They stress it will be while supplies last. Make sure you take advantage of this tomorrow.

Imperial's original South Buffalo location is always crowded for lunch, dinner and weekends. Customers have been clamoring for a second and even third location for years, and it will finally come true later this month.
