The new decade is only a few days old and already we are preparing for a full moon and a meteor shower this weekend!

But wait, there's more. According to the lunar calendar at NASA , a full moon each month with two in October.  The  second one will fall on Halloween night which is called a blue moon.  That won't happen again until 2039.

The year ahead also includes back-to-back supermoons in March and April.
