The first round of the NFL draft takes place tomorrow night, and every team is trying to make sure they make the right pick.

Of course, when you deal with real, live humans, sometimes your best research can fail, and you end up paying someone a lot of money for not a lot of production.

Here Is A Look At The Top Buffalo Bills Draft Busts Since 2000

ERIK FLOWERS - #26 Overall pick, 2000 NFL Draft.

Flowers was supposed to be a game-changing defensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills. He only played two seasons for the Buffalo Bills, starting 6 of 31 games. For his career with the Bills, he recorded 41 total tackles and 4 sacks. Not what you expect from a 1st round pick.

Kaiir Elam - #23 Overall pick, 2022 NFL Draft

Elam was going to be the elite corner that the Buffalo Bills put on the opposite side of Tre White. It never panned out, and Elam was overtaken on the depth chart by Christian Beneford, who was picked in the 6th round of the same draft. After two seasons in Buffalo, Elam was traded to Dallas along with a 6th-round pick for a 5th and 7th-round pick.
