25The Buffalo Sabres ended their record 14-season playoff drought, and everyone in Western New York is hopping on the bandwagon, including one local police department.

Cheektowaga Police Department Show Support For Buffalo Sabres

If you ask anyone in Western New York right now who is the best team in Western New York, almost everyone would say the Buffalo Sabres. Even my wife, who is not a sports fan at all, bought a Buffalo Sabres shirt so she could support the team.

Everyone and their mothers are on the Sabres bandwagon, including the Cheektowaga PD. Check out the new logo for the department that they shared earlier this week.

Needless to say, we all know who the Cheektowaga PD wants to win the Stanley Cup this year.

Buffalo/Boston Series Ready For Game 4

As for the Sabres, they won big on Thursday night, taking a 2-1 lead in the Best of Seven series. Game 4 is set for Sunday in Boston with puck drop set for just after 2 pm.

There will be no sweep, so Game 5 is back in Buffalo on Tuesday Night at KeyBank Center. Puck drop for that game is set for 7:30 pm.

If needed, Game 6 would be back in Boston on Friday, May 1st, and Game 7 would be back at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Sunday, May 3rd.

The Sabres have the home-ice advantage because they won the Atlantic Division this year.
