Every year employers in New York lose millions of dollars to lost production because their employees are watching "March Madness" instead of working.

With so many marquee games on both the men's and women's brackets, this year could be a peak year for losses across New York State.

According to the latest research from Challenger, Gray & Christmas, employers across the country could lose around $13.3 billion in productivity during the tournaments. Employees will be on the clock to watch games as early as Noon in New York and in the opening rounds could be watching back to back to back games.
