The reigning MVP of the NFL spoke with the media after practice today. Allen and the Bills are getting ready for Chicago on Sunday for their second preseason game. He did not see the field in their first preseason contest: a loss to the New York Giants. The question is, will Allen see the field at all before real games start?

Allen is a veteran now, having been in the league for 8 seasons. He's arguably the top quarterback in the NFL. Naturally, head coach Sean McDermott wants to protect the most important player on offence (and really, the team) from injury. After all, losing an important player in the preseason stings since the games mean nothing.

So will Johs play this preseason? Time will tell, but he was asked after practice if he needed to play, and he answered, essentially, no.

"No, I don't think I NEED preseaosn reps... if I were to get them I'd appreciate them..." -Josh Allen

Allen's college coach at Wyoming, Craig Bohl, was in attendance today as it was announced Josh will be inducted into the Wyoming Sports Hall of Fame.

The Bills play in Chicago on Sunday at 8 pm. They wrap up the preseason on Saturday, August 23, at Tampa Bay. They open the regular season in Prime Time, Sunday, September 7, at home against Baltimore for an 8:20 pm kickoff.
