JetBlue Will Be Giving Away Flights To 100,000 Medical Workers
Life is hard right now, especially for healthcare workers. But JetBlue is hoping to make all the hard work feel much more worth it with some free flights.
According to WIVB, the announcement was made that JetBlue is going to give away flights to anywhere that they fly when the time is right.
The plan is to give away 10,000 pairs of flights to healthcare workers in New York City (the place where the pandemic has hit our country the hardest and thee home town of JetBlue) and then the remaining 90,000 pairs of flights will go to workers across the country.
"Some heroes wear capes.
A lot of ours wear scrubs.
Together, we can make them fly." - JetBlue.com
So how will they determine who gets the flights?
This is where they need your help. They're asking for nominations from you.
You just go to their website and fill out the form to nominate your hero.
They could be headed just about anywhere in the US, the Caribbean, or South America if their name is chosen. They will have 62 domestic destinations and 36 international destinations in 27 countries.
If your #JetBlueHealthcareHero is chosen, they will receive a voucher to fly anywhere there JetBlue flies absolutely free just to say thank you for doing what they do.
They are risking their health for others. Most of the time it's for people that they don't even know. Looking out for these heroes is the least we can do. Best of luck to whoever the hero is in your life.
