Jim Walczyk Is This Week’s Hometown Hero!

It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Keller Chevrolet and Batavia Downs gaming.  This Week’s Hometown Hero is originally from West Falls, NY.  He served our country proudly in the United States Navy.  It’s 53 year old Jim Walczyk.

Jim is retired from the navy where he was on the USS Nimitz. Currently, he is working for the Department of Veteran Affairs. He also helps veterans outside of work by going to Washington DC for the coalition for the homeless conference every year.  He has also been doing the hearts for the homeless on Wednesday nights for the past several years now. He is also a volunteer fire fighter at the west falls fire hall.

We want to say thank you to Jim for his service and to everyone who is serving our country and keeping us free. We are proud to call Jim Walczyk our Hometown Hero of the week.
