Jordan Poyer Ruled Out For Sunday’s Game Against Miami
The Bills have what is arguably one of the biggest challenges of their season so far, and they're going to face it without their starting safety.
The Bills are taking on Miami at home on Sunday
The Buffalo Bills finally have a rivalry with the Miami Dolphins again. After years of being dominated by the New England Patriots, both the Bills and the Dolphins are back up to the top of the AFC East. This weekend will be a huge test for both of them.
The Miami Dolphins are coming off a huge win
Last week, the Miami Dolphins proved that they can score just about anytime they want. They put up an historical 70 points on the Denver Broncos. Both of their running backs each scored 4 touchdowns on the day. It's going to be a huge challenge for what has so far proven to be a stingy Buffalo Bills defense.
The Bills will be without safety Jordan Poyer
Unfortunately, the Bills will be without one of their best players on defense on Sunday. Today, coach Sean McDermott ruled out Jorday Poyer for the game.
Poyer has reportedly been dealing with a knee injury and it will keep him off the field on Sunday.
Last year, the Bills had an incredible record while Poyer was on the field
For the 2022-2023 season, the Buffalo Bills were 13-3 for the regular season. They were undefeated every game that Poyer was on the field aside from the playoff loss to the Bengals.
The good news is that Poyer is the only starter that has been ruled out so far. Micah Hyde, Leonard Floyd, Taron Johnson and Ryan Bates all missed practice time this week but will be good to go on Sunday.
