The accolades just keep on coming for Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his teammates are making sure he celebrates every single one.

First, Allen was named the league MVP

Josh Allen was awarded one of the NFL's highest honors at the end of last season when he was named the 2024-2025 MVP of the league. While he had his doubters, it was hard to argue against it. At the beginning of the season, he had lost his #1 and #2 wide receivers, and they were essentially replaced by a committee of players that were meant to fill those roles. They adopted an "Everybody Eats" style of offense where the main goal was to spread the ball around. Josh made it work and had one of his most productive seasons ever. The Bills were the second-highest scoring offense in the league.

Anyone who has asked him about it since he won has pretty much gotten the same response. He says, "It was great to get it. It was an honor. I'm moving on from it now." (We're paraphrasing here)

Then, he scored the perfect rating in Madden

Yesterday, Allen's teammates threw him a little party after they found out that he had scored the perfect rating on the video game "Madden 26."

When your player on Madden scores a 99 rating, it's considered a perfect rating on the game, and this year, Josh can boast that he holds that honor too.

Josh's response after his teammates threw him the mini-party about it, "I still can't tell. Is this real?"

When prompted by Dion Dawkins for a speech, his entire speech was, "Go Bills." Which is all we ever care to hear anyway.

Other players who have been inducted into the "99 Club"

Getting a 99 in Madden isn't easy.  Only a small number of players can say they've ever done it. According to USA Today, "Since Madden 2002, no more than seven players have qualified for The 99 Club in a single season." Since ratings began in 1999, 129 players have been awarded the honor.  Players like Reggie White, Ray Lewis, Marvin Harrison, Terrell Owens, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes are on this list.

Finally, Allen joins them.
