Kellie Pickler Show Delayed Due to Suspected Food Poisoning
The start of Kellie Pickler's weekend show in Baraboo, Wisc. was delayed as she recovered from a suspected case of food poisoning. Fans were alarmed when the singer posted a photo showing her arm with an IV in it. Later, Pickler thanked them for their "grace and understanding."
The show at the Ho Chunk Casino was on Saturday (Sept. 21). A representative from Pickler's record label tells Taste of Country that food poisoning is suspected, as she was sick for most of the day. The 'Dancing With the Stars' winner got the IV at the show, and even though she started late, she still gave fans a thrilling 90-minute performance.
"Many thanks to everyone who came to my show tonight," Pickler tweeted. "Again, I'm so sorry I had to delay my show...thank you for your grace & understanding."
Pickler's next scheduled show is on Friday (Sept. 27) in Lawrenceburg, Ind. Earlier this month, she announced that her new album, 'The Woman I Am,' will be available on Nov. 12.
