My friend Tom Garwol recently took a road trip to the Kinzua Bridge State Park and sent me these photos. The park is about 2 1/2 hours from my house in Williamsville near the intersection of Route 219 & US 6 in Pennsylvania. A F-1 tornado came through the valley in 2003 during the day, while workers were beefing up the structure, and took out 11 of the 20 towers. The bridge is just over 300 feet high and over 2000 feet across to the other side. Where it ends in the sky, there is an approximate 10'x12' glass floor. Last fall the state finished the project to what you now see.
