Lay's is always trying to invent new and unique flavors for their chips. Through contesting or submissions they always seem to have a "special edition" chip out. Now, Lay's has announced 8 new flavors based on regions from around the US. These are just as unique as flavors they have announced before.

Here are the 8 new flavors:

  • Cajun Spice - from the Central Gulf region
  • Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice - from the Mid-Atlantic
  • Chile Con Queso - from Texoma, Mountain, and Southern California
  • Deep Dish Pizza - from the Heartland and Mid-America
  • Fried Pickles with Ranch - from the Midwest
  • New England Lobster Roll - from the Northeast
  • Pimento Cheese - from the Southeast
  • Thai Sweet Chili - from the Pacific Northwest

Do any of these sound appetizing? Some are more unique than others but I guess that's what makes the chips special. However, don't you feel that WNY was left out? Our region doesn't exactly fit into any of these?

Here is some flavor suggestion for the WNY region:

  • Chicken Wing (obvious one)
  • Beef on Weck
  • Chicken BBQ
  • Hint of Loganberry
  • Mighty Taco
  • Paula's Donut Peanut stick

And all chips will be served with Bison Dip
