What NFL City Has The Littest Fans?
Sports fans are a unique bunch of people. Somehow, no matter where you live, there seems to be a unique group of people who let sports take over a portion of their lives.
From Los Angeles to Boston, Houston to Buffalo, there are super fans in every single sports city in America. But have you ever wondered, what city has the wildest fanbase?
Bookies.com, a website that works to help those into sports betting, did a review of all 32 NFL fan bases. Looking at all aspects of fandom, the group's survey found some interesting things.
What NFL City Has The Most Lit Fans?
The survey that was used to rank all 32 team fanbases used various categories. Things like game attendance for both home and away games, tailgating experience, how drunk fans get, and more were used in a scoring model to rank each team.
Using these figures, Bookies.com was able to tell us who has the most lit fans and who has the fewest lit fans.
Buffalo Has Some Of The Hypest Fans Among NFL Cities
When looking at all the fanbases across the league, the Bills Mafia ranks among the top 5. If you've been to a Bills game, then you know how great things get in Western New York, especially tailgating outside of Highmark Stadium.
That earned Buffalo a 4th place tie with Pittsburgh, as Steelers fans are quite excited.
The top five teams are Buffalo and Pittsburgh, tied for 4th. The New Orleans Saints in 3rd, the Denver Broncs in 2nd place, with the Philadelphia Eagles grabbing the top spot.
These teams being among the top isn't too surprising, as we all love our teams. However, it's the teams that round the least that are really interesting.
According to the survey, the bottom five team fanbases are the Washington Commanders, the Arizona Cardinals, the Detroit Lions, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Chicago Bears.
Personally, I think the Bills Mafia is the best fanbase in the world, but maybe we're a little biased. What do you think? You can check out the entire survey for yourself here.
