Liz FINALLY Hits The Slopes [PICTURES]

A lot of my winters as a child were spent going to Holiday Valley. My dad grew up a skier and made sure his kids did too! We would go out west to Tahoe and Angel Fire; we even spent one Christmas at Killington in Vermont. However, many weekends we made the haul to Ellicottville.

When I made the move to WNY, I was excited about two things (well, more, but...): WNY Flash soccer and the fact that I was back in ski country!

I finally was able to make it out to Kissing Bridge on Saturday evening! It has been about five or six years since I've skied, and I've had ACL surgery on top of it...so needless to say, I was a little nervous. But after that first run, we hopped back on the chair lift and literally high-fived each other like a couple of dorks! It was just like riding a bike, and I can't wait to get back out to KB and hit up Holiday Valley.

I went with our Digital Media girl, and she threatened harm to me if I posted our selfie on the website. So...you're stuck seeing just my face...BUT I was there with other people, I swear! :)
