Local Teen’s Video Inspired By Taylor Swift [VIDEO]
With Taylor Swift set to make an appearance in Buffalo next Tuesday we keep hearing from listeners about how much of an influence she’s had in their lives. One teenager was inspired she created a video.
17-year old Rachael Kandefer says she remembers hearing Taylor Swift’s stories about how she was bullied and she got through it. Rachael says she was bullied too in middle school over her hair, clothes and her learning disabilities. She even got harrassing phone calls. She described herself as a terrified, depressed teenager looking for a friend.
Now thanks to Taylor Swift’s music and inspirational story Rachael says she’s a strong, motivated person who’s made some wonderful friends. She’s also found that there are many other teens out there just like her who are struggling with all kinds of self doubts and confidence issues.
